Lots of amazing experiences this past month across the pond, as the Brits say... We were all very impressed with the almost universally gorgeous venues in Denmark (and the Danes are perhaps the nicest folks in the world), and the stupendous castles in Germany. (Just fyi-- although Germany and Denmark share same spelling of their word for castle, "Schloss", the pronunciation is dramatically different. The Danes pronounce it "Shlot," kind of like a Vegas one-armed bandit... Why are the Sweet Remains telling me this of all things, you say? Seems impertinent now. But if you ever find yourself onstage in Denmark having to say the word, you'll thank us!). We can't wait to get back to EU. And we can honestly say that even after having our hotel rooms broken into on the last night and everything stolen... Almost a relief to know there are at least a few shitty Danes... At least it would be If they hadn't taken all our clothes, passports, a MacBook Pro and whatever.

our trip to nashville was a lot of fun. we escaped right before they got hammered with snow. the performances went really well and we were all a bit in awe of how much music is in that town. every business is either a publisher, management company or label.
